Houndy News From Clarence and O'Malley

A lot has happened since our last posting! Clarence has gone to live with his grandparents, Stormy and Yoshie! He is very happy at his new home, where he doesn't have to share his bones and bed, and gets many muscle-building walks per day; a far cry from all of the times he was merely left out in the backyard at his old home. Clarice, an 8 1/2 year old shelter beagle, has joined the Carlson-Zorn clan.

We made a new friend today. His name is Jordan. He's a German Shepherd... We met him at the Doggie hangout area outside of Einstein HS. We chased each other around, and ate pizza together under the bleachers, and then he invited us to his house (his friends Elaine, Anne and Carlton were very nice to us too!) and let us play with his toys! O'Malley recognized a plush goose that he had loved in another life. We hope to see him again some day.

We went to the Basset Ramble today! We saw so many other bassets... more than you'll see in an entire year outside of this event... We saw our foster mom Cindy, and our derrieres were also featured on the Ramble Pics page! We went with our Aunties Lisa and Katherine, and our Uncle Ben. I ran in a race with Mommy and Daddy around a track, but I was really just chasing them instead of that crude plastic bag that they tricked the other dogs with. I wished that I had a costume, so that O'Malley and I could have participated in the contests at the end!

Being the fashionable, forward-thinking hounds they are, Clarence and O'Malley now have a blog!!! (That's a weblog to the uninitiated.)
